Woolworths launches urgent national recall of mini whiteboard products that can CUT you

Woolworths supermarkets have been forced to recall dangerous whiteboard products with sharp edges which could seriously injure users.

The supermarket chain has issued a recall of the Paperclick Mini Whiteboard Set, the Woolworths Whiteboard with Marker and the Paperclick Whiteboard Set.

The products were sold at Woolworths supermarkets across Australia.

Customers were able to buy the defective products from October 7, 2015 to April 13, 2018.

They were also sold at Woolworths’ smaller Metro stores.

The products have a defect where the frame of the whiteboard can become detached, causing the exposure of sharp edges.

Customers are advised not to use the products.

The whiteboards should be returned immediately to any Woolworths supermarket for a full refund.

The supermarket has apologised to customers for any inconvenience.

The recall comes just weeks after the supermarket was forced to pull another product.

Ingham’s Sweet Chilli Chicken Breast Tenders were taken off the shelves as they could contain pieces of hard plastic.
